Job summary

Atlanta Housing is seeking a Planner II to support master planning and predevelopment efforts within the Real Estate Group. You will analyze sites, conduct feasibility studies, coordinate infrastructure and entitlements, and engage with communities to advance affordable housing initiatives in line with federal, state, and local requirements.

The role requires strong project management, GIS capability, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Requires planning, real estate and community development expertise.
• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, planning or related field; AICP a plus.
• Minimum five years of professional planning or development experience; strong stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to undertake project due diligence and master planning.
• Coordinate planning activities and community engagement for development sites.
• Manage infrastructure design, budgets, schedules and vendor coordination.
• Prepare concept plans, entitlement approvals, and GIS analyses.
• Develop outreach strategies and presentation materials for community forums.
• Liaise with City of Atlanta and ensure compliance with regulations.
