Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Irvine, CA, seeks a Capital Markets Associate focused on sale, structured finance, and equity sourcing of commercial real estate. You will perform underwriting, market research, and prepare offering memorandums, with heavy use of Excel and Argus, collaborating with Producers and clients.

The role requires 2–6 years in financial analysis for CRE, and a Bachelor’s in Real Estate, Finance, or Accounting.

Qualifications

• 2-6 years of experience in a financial analysis environment; mortgage or commercial real estate industry preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal quantitative, writing, and communication skills; able to interface with top level executives.
• Strong writing skills with ability to communicate analytical and marketing data effectively.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to be an independent worker with a team player attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare investment sales, financing, and equity advisory packages and submissions for commercial real estate transactions.
• Perform complex financial modeling through Excel and Argus Enterprise for CRE transactions and underwrite using market data.
• Manage the due diligence process and drive marketing and closing activities; coordinate with Producers and clients.
• Develop and recommend sale, financing, and equity alternatives for Producers.
• Build client networks through meetings, events and industry involvement.
• Participate in weekly office meetings to discuss deal flow and market conditions.
