Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Houston seeks a Capital Markets Financial Analyst to support a leading broker team within the EDSF group. Based on-site at 1330 Post Oak Blvd, you will prepare financial analyses, debt and equity models, and marketing materials for real estate transactions.

You will build Excel and Argus models, assist with due diligence, and summarize feedback for lenders and clients. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in CRE financial analysis, strong writing skills, excellent time

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Real Estate preferred; MBA a plus.
• 1–2 years CRE financial analysis/finance experience preferred with CRE firm.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to build, analyze, and summarize complex financial models in Excel and Argus.
• Strong written communication skills for high-level analysis summaries.
• Autonomy with team-oriented collaboration and limited supervision.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills.
• Willingness to work extended hours, including some weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare debt and/or equity offering memoranda for clients and lenders (financial projections, location issues, tenants, etc.).
• Manage graphic design of memoranda with a designer, including tables, graphs, charts, and technical summaries.
• Prepare debt sizings to determine financing options for each deal.
• Prepare financial models in Excel and Argus for valuation and pricing.
• Assist in collecting and evaluating due diligence for transactions.
• Prepare pro forma statements reflecting historical cash flow and market conditions.
• Research market feasibility to support financing requests.
• Review real estate documents to identify issues or inconsistencies.
• Generate weekly reports on transaction marketing status.
• Collect lender/investor bids and summarize in quote matrices.
• Prepare lists of potential lenders/investors for marketing.
• Respond to lender requests and questions.
• Assist brokers in closing transactions following checklists.
