Job summary

Jobot is seeking a motivated Real Estate Attorney to manage a broad range of residential and commercial real estate matters, including closings, title review, and client counseling.

The ideal candidate will supervise transactions from contract through post-closing, maintaining strong relationships with clients, lenders, agents, and developers in Georgia. Georgia Bar in good standing is required.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Georgia Bar.
• 2+ years of experience in real estate law (residential and/or commercial closings preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Georgia real estate transactions, title work, and closing procedures.
• Excellent drafting, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage residential and commercial real estate transactions from inception through closing.
• Conduct and review title searches; resolve title issues and prepare title opinions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, deeds, closing documents, and related agreements.
• Oversee and conduct real estate closings, ensuring compliance with Georgia law.
• Communicate effectively with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all closing documentation and file records.
• Handle post-closing matters, including recording and title policy issuance.
• Stay current on Georgia real estate laws, regulations, and market trends.
