Duties:
Draft, review, and negotiate commercial real estate leases
Handle retail leasing transactions with minimal supervision
Provide legal counsel on a wide range of leasing matters
Respond promptly and effectively to business unit and client needs
Manage responsibilities in a high-volume, deadline-driven practice
Maintain accuracy and consistency in legal documentation
Requirements:
5–8 years of experience in real estate law, with a strong emphasis on leasing
Experience in retail leasing is preferred
Ability to work independently and handle matters without supervision
Strong work ethic with the ability to meet tight deadlines
Must be licensed in current jurisdiction or eligible for admission without examination
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
Certifications:
Active bar membership in a U.S. jurisdiction
Eligibility for admission in other jurisdictions without examination is advantageous
Skills:
Excellent legal drafting and negotiation skills
Strong organizational and time management capabilities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to function under pressure and manage multiple priorities
Responsive, professional, and client-focused communication style
