Polsinelli PC in New York seeks a mid-level associate to join our Real Estate practice. The ideal candidate has JD and active bar admission, 2+ years representing lenders in large, structured commercial real estate finance transactions, and strong writing and project-management skills.

You will coordinate closing checklists, oversee due diligence, and collaborate with paralegals and deal teams. Experience with mezzanine loans, preferred equity, asset management, or loan workouts is a plus.

Job description

Polsinelli is seeking a mid-level associate to join our Real Estate practice group in our New York office. Interested candidates should have excellent academic credentials, experience in a law firm or similar environment and superior writing, communication, and problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate will possess 2+ of experience in representing lenders in the origination of large, structured commercial real estate finance transactions. Candidates should possess strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate complex, multi-party transactions, including managing closing checklists, overseeing due diligence, and collaborating effectively with paralegals and other members of the deal team.

Experience with mezzanine loans, preferred equity, asset management, or loan workouts is a plus. Polsinelli is particularly interested in candidates who have the ambition, drive, and team-orientation to help grow and support our national practice. The ability to navigate complex subject matter quickly and effectively is required.

Salary will range between $235,000 - $385,000 annually, depending on experience. A discretionary bonus may also be available based on performance.
