Job summary

Seyfarth Shaw LLP seeks a Real Estate Associate with 3-6 years of experience. This role can be located in our Atlanta, Dallas, Houston or Seattle offices, focusing on acquisitions, development and leasing for a diverse client base including data center and industrial properties.

You will draft and negotiate purchase agreements, leases and development documents, coordinate due diligence, advise on transactional matters, and work with cross-border teams across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of extensive experience in real estate transactions.
• Admission to the bar in GA, TX or WA, or meet requirements to waive in.
• Experience with acquisitions, development and leasing.

Responsibilities

• Represent investors, developers, owners, lenders, and clients in real estate transactions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase agreements, leases, development agreements, easements, and related documents.
• Advise on acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, and operational matters for real estate assets.
• Handle all phases of commercial leasing transactions: structuring, negotiating, diligence, closing.
• Coordinate due diligence including lease, title, survey reviews and reporting.
• Assist with multi-jurisdictional transactions by coordinating local counsel and cross-border diligence.
• Analyze leasing structures, utilities, permits, property rights, data center operations and transaction execution.
