Job summary

Seyfarth Shaw LLP seeks a Real Estate Associate with 3-6 years of experience for a Seattle-based role with opportunities across multiple offices (Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Seattle). The position focuses on acquisitions, development and leasing of commercial real estate, including data center and industrial space.

The successful candidate will join a busy group with growth prospects, handling complex deals and multi-jurisdictional matters for a diversified client base.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of extensive experience with real estate transactions.
• Experience with industrial and data center leasing is a plus.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Admission to the Georgia, Texas or Washington State bar (or meet the requirements to waive in).

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in domestic and international real estate transactions, including data center and other commercial assets.
• Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, leases, development and infrastructure agreements, and closing documents.
• Advise on acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, and operational matters involving real estate assets.
• Manage all phases of commercial leasing transactions from structuring to closing.
• Coordinate due diligence, including lease, title, survey review, and reporting.
• Coordinate cross-border diligence with local counsel for multi-jurisdictional transactions.
• Analyze leasing structures, utilities, permitting, and property rights affecting data centers and transactions.
