Job summary

GID in Dallas, TX is seeking an Asset Management Analyst to support a multifamily and industrial portfolio. You will build and review valuation models, monitor performance, and prepare analyses for senior leadership and partners.

Role requires strong Excel/ARGUS skills, PowerPoint, and familiarity with AI tools. Travel flexibility and a detail‑oriented mindset are valued in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Mathematics or Accounting.
• 2–5 years of real estate experience; modeling for financial institutions or lenders is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel financial models; ability to build and review models.
• Expertise in ARGUS, Excel and PowerPoint; VBA/Macros desirable.
• Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and generative AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in oversight and monitoring of a diverse multifamily portfolio.
• Develop performance monitoring models, hold/sell analyses and tax tracking.
• Manage internal and external valuations for co-investment properties.
• Prepare reports for the Executive Committee and institutional partners.
• Create models detailing current positions and forecast asset performance.
• Prepare annual business plans, renovations and capital programs.
• Collaborate with Asset Managers on investment recommendations.
• Support pricing decisions through revenue management analyses.
• Conduct market research: rents, supply, sales comps and employment trends.
• Utilize data analytics and AI tools to identify trends and insights.
• Participate in ad hoc analytical projects as required.
