Job summary

Puget Sound Energy is seeking a Real Estate Representative - Asset Management to manage the company’s real estate portfolio, including facilities, corridors, and mitigation sites. You will conduct property research, interpret legal descriptions, and negotiate with landowners to secure operating rights, while supporting project development and asset management.

Responsibilities include collaborating with planning, engineering, and legal teams, preparing documents, and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of experience acquiring, managing, and transferring land rights.
• Experience with property legal descriptions, appraisals, title research, and engineering drawings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage real estate activities with internal teams, external partners, and customers to ensure project success.
• Collaborate with planning, engineering, project management, land planning, legal, and government relations.
• Perform research and analysis of public records, company databases, and title documents.
• Read and interpret real property legal descriptions and ensure accuracy in documents.
• Negotiate with landowners, attorneys, and other stakeholders to acquire or dispose of operating rights.
• Serve as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders on real estate matters.
