Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Monitor financial and operational performance of a portfolio of CRE assets (industrial, multifamily, etc.).
• Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to evaluate asset-level performance.
• Review property-level financial statements, operating reports, and KPIs.
• Assist in developing and monitoring asset-level business plans and investment strategies.
• Collaborate with property managers and leasing teams to drive asset performance.
• Support quarterly investor reports, valuations, and internal portfolio updates.
• Identify opportunities to enhance performance and maximize investment returns.
• Assist with hold/sell analyses, capex planning, and strategic investments.

A well-established real estate investment firm is seeking an Asset Management Associate to join its team. The successful candidate will support the management and performance of a diversified commercial real estate portfolio, with exposure to industrial, multifamily, and other commercial property types.

This is an excellent opportunity for an asset management professional with 2–5 years of relevant experience looking to take on greater responsibility across portfolio oversight, financial analysis, and business plan execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor the financial and operational performance of a portfolio of commercial real estate assets, including industrial and multifamily properties.
• Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to evaluate asset-level performance.
• Review property-level financial statements, operating reports, and key performance indicators.
• Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring asset-level business plans and investment strategies.
• Work closely with property managers, leasing teams, and other third-party operating partners to drive asset performance.
• Support the preparation of quarterly investor reports, valuations, and internal portfolio updates.
• Identify opportunities to enhance property-level performance, improve operational efficiency, and maximize investment returns.
• Assist with hold/sell analysis, capital expenditure planning, and other strategic investment decisions.

Candidate Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in commercial real estate, with a focus on asset management.
• Previous experience overseeing or supporting the management of commercial real estate assets.
• Exposure to industrial, multifamily, or other commercial property types is preferred.
• Strong financial analysis and Excel skills, with the ability to interpret property-level financial performance.
• Familiarity with real estate operating statements, budgeting, forecasting, and investment analysis.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders.
• A proactive, analytical mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
