Job summary

Stockbridge is seeking an Associate in Asset Management in San Francisco. The role focuses on industrial outdoor storage markets on the West Coast.

You will build financial models, assist with budgets and business plans, and accompany senior staff on property visits and market tours. You will develop relationships with third-party managers and brokers while supporting the acquisition and asset management teams.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree from an accredited institution with strong academic credentials.
• 3–5 years real estate/finance experience including portfolio analysis, valuations, cash flow forecasting, acquisitions or asset management.
• Proven analytical skills and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of discounted cash flow analysis in Argus Enterprise and/or Excel.
• Strong writing and verbal/interpersonal communication skills.
• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to mentor Analysts.
• Ability to work in a team setting or independently.
• Motivation, responsibility and entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial models for internal property valuations, dispositions and capital transactions.
• Accompany Asset Managers on property visits and market tours.
• Oversee relationships with third-party property managers, brokers and JV partners.
• Collaborate with construction teams on ground-up and redevelopment opportunities.
• Prepare Investment Committee materials including disposition and capital approval memos.
