Ares Management is seeking an Analyst to support oversight and execution of the firm's real estate investment and fund activities through financial analysis, asset and fund performance evaluation, and hands-on involvement in transactions and reporting.

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and technical proficiency for financial analysis and asset/fund performance evaluation.
• Experience with financial modeling and data analysis in real estate or investment context.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial and performance analysis.
• Review annual asset plans and provide strategic input on major decisions.
• Support transaction analysis and execution, including hold/sell analyses, buyouts, financings and refinancings.
• Develop and maintain fund-level analyses, including projections of returns and liquidity, debt analytics.
• Assist in valuations using Argus and Excel and investor reporting.
• Help build and maintain data systems and dashboards.
• Collaborate with JV partners, Acquisitions/Development teams, Finance and Investor Relations.
• Learn markets and sectors with in-house asset management teams.
• Handle other special projects and initiatives.
