Job summary

Gateway Group Personnel in Memphis seeks a Real Estate Analyst to join an established professional services firm. You will work with numbers, build financial models in Excel, and apply analytical skills to CRE valuations.

Responsibilities include analyzing financial statements, researching rents and cap rates, evaluating lease terms, and supporting property tax projections. A Finance/Accounting/Real Estate background and advanced Excel skills are required to excel and grow in this role.

Qualifications

Gateway Group Personnel has been engaged by an established Memphis-based professional services firm seeking a Real Estate Analyst to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in Finance, Accounting, Financial Analysis, or Commercial Real Estate who enjoys analytical work and wants to develop specialized expertise in property valuation and financial modeling.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Analyze commercial real estate financial statements, operating results, and budgets.
• Develop Excel-based financial models, forecasts, and property tax projections.
• Research market rents, comparable sales, capitalization rates, and property values.
• Evaluate rent rolls, lease terms, and property-level financial performance.
• Support valuation projects and property tax analysis for commercial real estate clients.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, or related field.
• Advanced Excel skills are a MUST — strong formulas, functions, and financial modeling capabilities.
• Solid understanding of financial statements and financial analysis.
• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and intellectual curiosity.
• Commercial real estate, property management, appraisal, or valuation experience is a plus.
