Mercor is recruiting experienced Property, Real Estate, and Community Association Managers as independent contractors to collaborate on AI research projects with top-tier AI labs.

In this role, you’ll contribute your operational and managerial expertise to help train and evaluate advanced AI models by designing realistic property management scenarios, leasing workflows, and governance-related prompts.

What We're Looking For:

We’re seeking experienced real estate professionals who have:

• 4+ years of full-time experience in property management, real estate operations, or community association oversight (e.g., residential, commercial, or mixed-use properties)
• Hands-on experience with leasing, rent collection, vendor coordination, budgeting, property inspections, and tenant/resident communications
• A history of overseeing property performance, compliance, or governance, often in collaboration with owners, boards, or management companies
• Familiarity with property management software, leasing tools, or association documentation (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, Buildium, HOA rules)

What You’ll Do:

• Create realistic management scenarios, such as handling maintenance issues, resolving tenant disputes, reviewing lease agreements, or preparing for board meetings
• Design prompts that simulate tasks like budget planning, occupancy reporting, CAM reconciliation, or enforcing community guidelines
• Help AI researchers understand real estate terminology, compliance standards, documentation workflows, and property operations
• Evaluate and refine AI-generated content for accuracy, professionalism, and relevance to real-world property and association management
