Job summary

Jobot, a national law firm, seeks an Associate Attorney for its Washington, DC office to handle sophisticated real estate transactions with a focus on affordable housing and community development.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of real estate transactional experience, strong drafting and analytical skills, and an interest in development, LIHTC, and regulatory matters. DC-barred or eligible candidates preferred; collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of real estate transactional experience
  • Strong interest in affordable housing and community development
  • Experience with complex real estate transactions
  • Regulatory analysis experience preferred
  • Strong drafting, analytical, organizational, and client-facing skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • DC-barred or eligible candidates preferred, depending on firm requirements

Responsibilities

  • Work on sophisticated transactional matters including real estate development, finance, regulatory analysis, and complex transactions
  • Contribute to affordable housing and community development efforts
  • Draft and negotiate transactional documents with attention to detail
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys to deliver client-focused solutions
