Job summary

Progress Residential in Tempe, AZ is seeking an Acquisitions Associate responsible for underwriting, diligence, and negotiation to place capital on single-family homes through multiple channels. You will develop market insights, assess risks, and drive investment decisions with a data-driven approach.

You will build an acquisitions pipeline, monitor market trends, and collaborate with stakeholders. The role requires strong analytical ability, initiative, and travel every 6 to 8 weeks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or a related field is required.
• Experience as an Analyst in finance, banking, real estate, or investments is desired.
• Ability to be independent, self-motivated and take initiative.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite, analyze and negotiate and make final purchase decisions for single-family home opportunities via multiple channels.
• Create and execute market-specific strategy for asset selection and acquisition pace to maximize investor returns.
• Develop and maintain an acquisitions pipeline using market knowledge and proprietary tools.
• Compile and analyze market information to inform investment decisions and process improvements.
• Collaborate across departments to influence investment, operations, and asset management decisions.
