Job summary

Progress Residential, LLC seeks an Acquisitions Associate to drive capital placement of $5–$20 million monthly. You will underwrite, diligence and negotiate SFR opportunities via MLS, off-market, new construction and iBuyer channels, while building market expertise and managing risk across a dynamic portfolio.

Ideal candidates have a business/finance background, strong analytics, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with travel about every 6–8 weeks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field is required.
• Experience in finance, banking, real estate or investments is preferred.
• Must be independent, self-motivated and proactive.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication; distill complex info to key points.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite, analyze and negotiate purchase opportunities via multiple channels.
• Create and execute market-specific strategy for asset selection and pace.
• Develop a robust acquisitions pipeline using market data and tools.
• Analyze market information to inform investment and process improvements.
• Collaborate across departments to influence investment and asset decisions.
