Job summary
Griffin Capital Company is seeking an Acquisitions Analyst to support real estate investment activities across underwriting, financial modeling, and market analysis. You will work with senior acquisition team members and cross-functional groups to evaluate new opportunities.
You will build and update cash-flow models, prepare deal packages, perform market research, and assist in investment memoranda for presentation to the Investment Committee.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years in commercial real estate, multifamily/build-to-rent/ student housing preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Strong Excel skills and ability to build/refine complex financial models.
Responsibilities
- Assist asset valuation, cash-flow projection, and underwriting for development opportunities and asset acquisitions.
- Analyze historical, current, and pro-forma operating data and update models.
- Prepare underwriting, investor, and lender packages for deals.
- Conduct market research on demographics, markets, and submarkets for acquisitions and asset classes.
- Create investment memoranda and reports for Investment Committee review.
