Job summary

Lume Search Partners in New York's Five Towns area is seeking a junior real estate analyst to support underwriting for multifamily and commercial opportunities. This in-office role requires 1–2 years of real estate experience and strong Excel modeling skills.

You will build complex cash flow models, assist with due diligence and market research, and prepare investment memos for the investment committee. The position offers growth opportunities into a senior underwriting role.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in real estate.

Responsibilities

• Support senior team members in underwriting, financial modeling, and investment analysis for multifamily and commercial opportunities.
• Build and maintain complex Excel models including cash flow projections, IRR/NPV analyses, sensitivity tables, and deal comparables.
• Assist with due diligence, market research, property tours, and preparation of investment committee memos/presentations.
• Collaborate with brokers, lenders, and internal teams; demonstrate strong communication and social skills to build relationships in a fast-paced environment.
