Job summary

Genuine Search Group is seeking an Analyst/Associate for its acquisitions team in Manhattan. You will conduct financial analysis, build models to evaluate asset income potential, review cash flows, and support investment decisions with clear presentations.

The role requires 2-4 years of real estate acquisitions experience, residential experience preferred, and strong Excel skills. On-site (5 days/week) at the Manhattan office, with participation in market research and stakeholder presentations.

Qualifications

Our client, a real estate investment firm, is looking for an individual to join their acquisitions team as an Analyst/Associate.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct financial analysis and create financial models/valuations to assist in evaluating the asset's income potential, historical and projected cash flows, operating expenses, and other metrics, such as cap rates, net operating income (NOI), and internal rate of return (IRR).
• Review any documents for risks or issues associated with potential asset.
• Analyze market trends by looking at supply and demand, demographic data, and evaluating the landscape.
• Prepare and present presentations and reports to stakeholders.

Requirements:

2-4 years of experience in real estate acquisitions, residential exp required

Experience working with Excel required

On-site (5x a week) working requirement (office is in Manhattan)
