Jobot is seeking an Accounting Manager in Huntington Beach, CA for a full-time on-site role. The position oversees trust operations, corporate reporting, and client account structures across multi-unit residential, HOA, and specialized assets.

This role requires 4+ years of full-cycle accounting with real estate experience, strong software skills (AppFolio, Excel), and a CA Real Estate license or knowledge of DRE rules as a plus. Health or dental benefits and PTO are included.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of full-cycle accounting experience, with at least 2 years specifically in real estate or property operations.
• Hands-on experience managing trust accounts and executing monthly three-way reconciliations.
• Proficiency in AppFolio or equivalent property management software and advanced Excel.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related; CA Real Estate license or knowledge of DRE rules is a plus.
• Meticulous attention to accuracy, strong deadline adherence, and clear communication with stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Direct client trust accounts, security deposit processing, Move-In/Move-Out reconciliations, and fund distributions in strict compliance with state regulatory standards (DRE).
• Perform monthly three-way reconciliations, oversee year-end regulatory preparations, and coordinate with external CPA audits and tax filings.
• Direct monthly owner distribution schedules, deliver transparent financial statements, and support HOA budgeting, reserve analysis, and assessment tracking.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor disbursements, 1099 issuances, and overall cash flow tracking.
• Leverage specialized industry software to streamline accounting workflows, maintain banking relationships, establish internal controls, and mentor team members.
