Job summary

CHN Housing Partners is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for Real Estate in Cleveland, OH. The role oversees the accounting function, staffs the team, and ensures accurate financial reporting and internal controls aligned with GAAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in real estate development or affordable housing.
• Experience leading a team with multiple priority projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recording, tracking, and reporting of financial information.
• Hire, train, and motivate accounting staff; develop department controls and procedures.
• Review Yardi and related accounting processes; implement improvements as needed.
• Assist in reviewing legal documents to ensure proper accounting and reporting.
• Provide supporting documentation to external auditors and coordinate audits.
