Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA designation strongly preferred.
• 2+ years of public accounting plus 1-3+ years of progressive accounting experience in private industry.
• Experience supervising accounting staff.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
• Advanced Excel skills with complex formulas, pivot tables, and modeling.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of ~3 accounting personnel for corporate, property, and fund accounting.
• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with timely reporting.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and schedules.
• Provide accounting guidance related to real estate investments and fund structures.
• Ensure GAAP compliance, internal controls, and policy adherence.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations, flux analyses, and budget-to-actual reports.
• Partner with executives to provide financial insights and strategic decisions.
• Oversee cash management, forecasting, and investment reconciliations.
