Job summary

City Ventures in Irvine, CA is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to support our Finance team. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and 5+ years of finance experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role. Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting/finance experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in real estate or homebuilding strongly preferred.
• CPA license (active) is preferred.
• MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Support the annual audit process.
• Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations.
• Conduct technical accounting research and assist with ad-hoc projects.
