Qualifications

• 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Background in real estate accounting, real estate investment management, or public accounting with a real estate focus.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quarterly and annual financial reporting for real estate investment funds and direct investments.
• Review US GAAP and fair value reporting, underlying workpapers, and investment activity.
• Analyze promote and management fee calculations, ownership transfers, dispositions, and other complex transactions.
• Oversee fund-level cash positions, capital calls, distributions, acquisitions, dispositions, and refinancings.
• Coordinate with fund administrators, auditors, JV partners, and other external parties.
• Support quarterly closes and annual fund audits.
• Research and apply accounting guidance to real estate investments and fund structures.
• Provide financial and accounting insight to investment and asset management teams.
• Review investor reporting and respond to investor-specific requests.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvement and technology/AI initiatives.
