Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 1-3 years of real estate accounting experience, preferably with residential properties.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Experience with JD Edwards, Yardi, RealPage, or similar systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review third-party financial reporting packages for completeness and accuracy.
• Perform analytical reviews of income statement and balance sheet accounts.
• Evaluate monthly accruals and monitor debt service payments, real estate taxes, and insurance.
• Prepare quarterly and annual financial reporting packages for fund accounting.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals.
• Prepare quarterly financial packages for lenders.
• Convert third-party trial balances and budgets into internal accounting systems.
