Qualifications

• Degree in accounting/finance or related field required; see alternative options if no degree.
• Two years of accounting/finance experience preferred; real estate accounting exposure valued.
• Knowledge of GAAP and FASB regulations; ability to interpret financial terms.
• Experience with real estate accounting software and financial statement packages.
• Strong Excel and analytical skills; ability to present information clearly.
• Excellent written and interpersonal skills; customer-focused service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries; ensure accurate period postings of expenses, receipts, distributions and funding.
• Generate and review client financial packages; ensure timely delivery.
• Adhere to CAPP guidelines to meet reporting requirements.
• Review funding and payment requests for accuracy and authorization.
• Assist budgeting/forecasting for assigned properties; support client audits.
• Collaborate with team and SPOC guidelines; train teammates as needed.
