NorthPoint Development LLC is seeking a Real Estate Accountant to support its growing construction project portfolio. You will work with Development Managers to maintain budgets and monitor costs, primarily through Yardi, ensuring accurate coding and timely reporting.

The role involves preparing monthly draw packages for lenders, compiling financials for investors, and assisting with year-end audits. A accounting or business degree, plus 2+ years experience, CPA preferred.

Qualifications

• Accounting or business degree required.
• Master's in accounting or business preferred.
• CPA license preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Development Managers to prepare and monitor construction budgets using Yardi.
• Code invoices, obtain approvals, and prepare ad-hoc reports.
• Prepare monthly construction draw packages for lenders.
• Compile monthly/quarterly financial reports for NorthPoint and investors.
• Enter monthly journal entries for closing periods.
• Assist with annual tax returns and financial audits.
• Work with property managers on budgets and forecasts.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Track capital funding for projects.
• Assist with capital outlay reports.
• Depreciation and amortization schedules.
