Job summary

Burdick Materials, a CRH Company, is seeking a Ready Mix Truck Driver to operate trucks safely in the plant yard, on public roads, and at various job sites to deliver concrete to commercial and residential customers. Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, ensuring mix specifications, and delivering material with safety and professionalism in all weather conditions.

The ideal candidate holds a valid CDL Class A or B and a DOT Medical Card, can read and follow simple instructions, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess a valid state commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A or Class B.
• Must possess a valid Medical Card as per DOT standard.

Responsibilities

• Maintains equipment in a safe and clean condition.
• Performs pre and post-trip truck inspections.
• Verify general compliance with mix specifications after loading and at job site.
• Drives ready mix truck to location for unloading.
• Operate ready mix truck to release concrete down truck chute into area to be poured with concrete.
• Cleans truck after delivery to prevent concrete from hardening in mixer and on truck.
