Job summary

CRH Americas Building Products is seeking a highly responsible CDL B driver to transport freshly mixed concrete from the central mix plant to roadway projects. The role requires adherence to safety standards and precise delivery procedures while maintaining product integrity.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, PPE use, and collaborating with forepersons to meet daily project needs. Overtime, night, and weekend work may be required to support busy construction schedules.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL B license with air brake endorsement.
• Experience delivering ready mix concrete is preferred.
• Strong safety mindset and compliance with OSHA/MSHA.

Responsibilities

• Drive a multi-axle ready mix truck from plant to jobsites while delivering concrete.
• Perform daily pre- and post-inspections and complete required documentation.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and operational readiness; assist with pouring when needed.
• Follow site directions and safety procedures; wear PPE as required.
• Work overtime, nights, and weekends; travel away from home as necessary.
