Job summary

New Enterprise Stone & Lime Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced RMC Production Manager to lead the plants, fleets, and delivery operations within an assigned market area.

You will ensure safe, reliable production, high-quality concrete, and effective use of truck fleets while developing plant and driver teams. You will translate customer demand and regional priorities into actionable daily plans, coordinating with dispatch, sales, quality control, and maintenance to meet commitments and improve

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's preferred.
• 5+ years in ready-mixed concrete or construction materials with leadership.
• Strong problem solving and operational coordination.
• Knowledge of RMC production, plant operations, dispatch, and delivery.
• Ability to lead plant and driver teams across multiple locations.
• Experience using operating and financial data to diagnose problems and manage costs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and business systems.
• Valid driver's license and NESL driving standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop plant operations and ready-mix driver teams, including staffing, scheduling, training, and accountability.
• Maintain regular presence at plants and jobsites to coach coworkers and address concerns.
• Ensure incidents and quality issues are reported, investigated, and corrected.
• Oversee daily operation of assigned RMC plants and drivers to meet safety, on-time delivery, and specs.
• Coordinate with dispatch to align orders, capacity, and schedules.
• Monitor assets and plan preventive maintenance with Equipment Services.
• Ensure compliance with DOT, environmental, safety, and NESL requirements.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvements.
• Support regional manager with staffing forecasts and budgets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
