Job summary

Croell, Inc. in Caledonia, MN is seeking a Ready Mix Plant Manager to lead daily plant operations, dispatch deliveries, and ensure concrete quality. You will coordinate orders, manage trucks, supervise staff, and maintain safety and efficiency in a fast-paced concrete production environment.

Qualifications

• CDL license and DOT medical card required.
• ACI certification or knowledge of ACI tests.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Dependability and reliable attendance.
• Ability to lead a team and manage plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Batch concrete using manual and computerized systems.
• Inspect mix designs and adjust for proper slump and load size.
• Process orders and determine yardage; schedule trucks.
• Prepare daily/weekly run schedules for efficiency and cost control.
• Coordinate deliveries with suppliers and internal teams.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain safety standards.
• Lead and train staff; handle grievances and disciplinary actions.
• Maintain equipment and oversee payroll and inventory paperwork.
• Support operations by operating a ready mix truck when needed.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety policies.
