Job summary

King's Material Inc. Cedar Rapids is seeking a Ready-Mix Manager to oversee the safe, efficient, and profitable operation of the plant. You will lead daily production, batching, maintenance, quality control, and inventory to ensure on-time delivery and consistent quality.

The role requires strong leadership, solid batching and scheduling knowledge, and experience with concrete materials. On-site position with regular hours and potential weekend peak periods.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or technical training required or preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with batching operations and production scheduling a must.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily plant operations, batching, maintenance, quality control, and scheduling.
• Drive safety culture and regulatory compliance across the site.
• Coach and develop team performance; manage onboarding and training.
• Coordinate with dispatch, drivers, QC, maintenance, and sales for throughput.
