Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician for the DFW Ready Mix Plants. You will inspect, repair, and install plant machinery, and lead preventive maintenance aligned with manufacturer guidelines.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 2–3 years of technical training, and 3–4 years in mechanical repair in an industrial setting; knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems is essential. Strong safety adherence and teamwork are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of technical training or apprenticeship.
• 3–4 years of mechanical repair/installation experience in plant/industrial setting.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems; use of shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, inspect, repair, move, and install plant machinery and equipment.
• Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on equipment (crushers, belts, pumps, bearings).
• Inspect condition and operation of plant equipment and perform repairs.
• Move and install plants per engineering plans; mentor junior mechanics.
• Disassemble/repair production equipment by replacing worn parts.
• Perform building maintenance and related tasks as assigned.
• Uphold safety and environmental policies in all work areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
