Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking a maintenance technician to support concrete production facilities. You will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant equipment to keep operations safe and efficient.

The role requires 2+ years in industrial maintenance, knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and welding/fabrication. Travel and outdoor work are possible; emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably concrete or heavy equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/trade schooling preferred.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics and blueprints; welding/fabrication a plus.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on plant equipment including mixers and conveyors.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and perform timely repairs.
• Conduct regular inspections for wear, damage, or safety concerns.
• Maintain engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyors, and machinery.
• Ensure equipment operates with minimal downtime and maintain safety records.
