Job summary

Kienstra Ready Mix Concrete is seeking an experienced Ready Mix Concrete Plant Maintenance Person for a full-time role. You will perform maintenance on plant equipment, operate heavy machinery, and emphasize safety while supporting a busy production environment.

This position requires working outdoors year-round, passing a drug screen and physical, and being able to work overtime as needed. Join a family-owned company with a long-standing regional presence.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair concrete plant equipment.
• Welding and cutting experience required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Must be comfortable working outdoors year round.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• Experience operating heavy plant equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Arrive with a team and contribute to daily plant operations.
• Plan the day with safety as the top priority.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs.
• Conduct routine, preventive, diagnostic, and repair work on plant equipment.
• Operate equipment including front end loader, forklift, aerial lift, Lull, welder, and skid steer.
• Work until the day is finished and maintain productivity.
