Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH company, is seeking an experienced Plant Supervisor to oversee ready-mix concrete operations in Mountain Home, ID.

You will ensure safe production, coordinate with the Plant Manager, and maintain equipment and quality control.This role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in ready-mix and at least 1 year in maintenance/supervision, and a valid driver's license (CDL preferred).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with ready-mix concrete and related products.
• 1+ year of maintenance and supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license; CDL preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and EPA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversees weekly and monthly safety meetings with focus on safe behavior.
• Enforces use of safety equipment at the plant.
• Coordinates schedules with the Plant Manager.
• Maintains batching sequences and ensures scale accuracy.
• Assesses material quality and moisture levels.
• Supervises plant personnel in daily activities.
• Assists with hiring, evaluation, and discipline.
• Tracks payroll hours with daily time-entry audits.
• Ensures timely delivery with ready-mix drivers.
• Performs pre-shift inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Inspects equipment like bins, dust collection, dispensers, gates and ram.
• Maintains overall plant and office housekeeping.
