Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, is hiring a Ready-Mix Plant Manager to lead concrete and aggregate production, ensuring safety and quality while meeting budget targets.

The role requires supervisory experience in concrete operations, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with procurement, maintenance, and QC teams to optimize resources and performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years' supervisory experience in concrete/asphalt/aggregate operations.
• Knowledge of safety, quality control, and production standards.
• Experience with production budgeting and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate production of concrete and associated aggregate materials using knowledge of production technology and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory mandates, company policies and safety procedures.
• Confer with management to establish production and quality standards, develop budget and cost controls.
• Plan and direct production activities and establish production priorities.
• Coordinate production with procurement, maintenance and QC for optimum utilization of resources.
• Review production, quality control, maintenance and operational reports to identify causes of non-conformity.
• Develop and implement operating methods to eliminate problems and improve quality.
• Maintain and improve the appearance of company property and facilities.
• Ensure operating costs stay within budgeted amounts.
