Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH Company, is seeking an Assistant Plant Supervisor for the Austin Portable Ready Mix plant. You will lead daily operations, drive safety, quality, and team performance while delivering reliable production and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include overseeing batching, dispatch, and uptime; managing schedules, conducting daily product testing, and coordinating with Customer Service and Sales to exceed expectations.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Ready Mix experience required.
• Excellent communication skills with local-area knowledge.
• Proven problem-solver who performs well under pressure.
• Computer-proficient with batching, billing and plant systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee batching, production, dispatch, and plant uptime.
• Maintain inventory, coordinate maintenance, and order materials.
• Manage schedules, assignments, and timecards; ensure safety and compliance.
