Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a CDL-ready delivery driver to operate a ready-mix truck and deliver concrete products to customers in the Conroe, TX area.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and the ability to safely operate heavy equipment, with strong communication skills and physical capacity for varying weather conditions. You will perform vehicle inspections, manage delivery tickets, and assist with loading and unloading as needed.

What You'll Be Doing

• Safely operate a ready-mix truck to deliver concrete products to customers.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Ensure accurate delivery tickets and maintain communication with dispatch.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of materials as needed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

Conditions of Employment

• Must hold current CDL-B or CDL-A
• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
