Job summary

Montana Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, is seeking a Ready-Mix Driver in Helena, MT. You will operate a concrete mixer truck to deliver to job sites, ensuring quality and safety while maintaining clear communication with dispatch and customers.

Wage is DOE with potential overtime; training is provided. The role requires standing up to demands of the job, safety compliance, and the ability to work flexible hours including overtime and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL unrestricted and current DOT medical card.
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
• Safety minded professional who demonstrates good performance, attendance, and punctuality.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends/holidays as needed.
• Ability to work and communicate well with Supervisors, Truck Drivers, Heavy Equipment Operators, and other employees.
• Must pass pre-employment physical exam and pre-employment-controlled substance testing.
• Must have current US Authorization to work or ability to obtain without company assistance prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and efficiently by utilizing equipment within its designed parameters.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicle to ensure safe operational order and report maintenance or repair issues.
• Operate ready-mix concrete truck to deliver to construction sites, as specified, in a safe and efficient manner, obeying applicable laws and following dispatch instructions.
• Maintain communication with Dispatcher as necessary regarding deliveries.
• Record sales and delivery information.
• Routinely assist other members of the work force in different areas of production.
• Regular and timely attendance.
