Job summary

OnSite Concrete Solutions, LLC is seeking a reliable delivery driver responsible for transporting ready-mix concrete, receiving and transmitting delivery instructions with dispatch, and maintaining a safe work environment on construction sites and in the yard.

The ideal candidate holds a CDL Class A or B, passes a DOT background check, and demonstrates excellent communication, safety awareness, and physical stamina.

Qualifications

• Must have good communication skills

• Follow DOT rules and terminal policies
• Ability to handle physical workload

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver ready-mix concrete
• Maintain communication with dispatch for delivery Instructions
• Inspect and maintain the ready-mix truck daily
• Adhere to safety procedures on transit and job sites
• Manage customer concerns professionally
• Document and log work (DVIR)
• Complete all mandatory paperwork promptly
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job description

Responsible for the delivery of products to include accountability for shipments of products at the receipt of inventory, operating a safe work environment, tracking maintenance of vehicles, and various other duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Transport and deliver ready-mix concrete
• Maintain communication with dispatch to receive and transmit delivery instructions.
• Inspect and maintain the ready-mix truck regularly
• Always adhere to safety procedures and rules during transit and on construction sites
• Manage customer concerns and requests professionally
• Document and log work. (daily DVIR)
• Ensure all mandatory paperwork is completed in a timely manner
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Must have good communication skills
• Maintain required commercial driving license (Class A, Class B driver license)
• Pass DOT background check
• Maintain knowledge of and follow DOT rules and regulations, terminal policy and procedures, and any other regulations as required.
• Ability to handle physical workload

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Will be exposed to plant production development, indoors and outdoors
• Exposed to elements cold, heat and humidity
• Regularly required walking, twisting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, standing, reaching, bending and moving about the yard/facility.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• May handle potentially hazardous equipment and materials
• Occasional testing of equipment
• Work well alone and with others
• Must exhibit flexibility, good attitude and dependability
