Job description

Responsibilities and Duties

• Deliver ready‑mixed concrete and other associated products from batch plants to construction sites and homes in a safe and efficient manner.
• Conduct pre‑trip inspections of ready‑mix trucks according to D.O.T. regulations.
• Safely load and promptly deliver ready‑mixed concrete to job sites as dispatched while maintaining positive customer and public relations.
• Perform related loading and unloading operations with the ready‑mix delivery truck in an efficient, safe manner.
• Carry out regular maintenance and cleaning inside the concrete drum as required.
• Rinse chutes and the rear of the truck free of spilled concrete, and return the truck to the batch plant following EPA regulations. Assist concrete block molds and production as needed.
• Keep inside the cab clean and sanitary. Perform daily cleaning and routine maintenance of the truck.
• Perform other functions and duties as required or directed.

Qualifications and Skills
