Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a CDL driver to safely operate RMX mixer trucks and deliver concrete to residential and commercial sites. You will ensure quality, follow DOT rules, and maintain accurate documentation.

You will communicate with dispatch and customers, uphold safety standards, and participate in general plant duties as needed. Weekly pay and full benefits are provided in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL is required.
• Clean driving record with safety focus.
• Prior commercial driving or ready-mix experience preferred.
• Ability to operate and maneuver a mixer truck safely.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues.
• Solid knowledge of DOT regulations and safety requirements.
• Dependable with a consistent work schedule.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with dispatch and customers.
• Work outdoors in varying weather; perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an RMX mixer truck to deliver concrete to job sites.
• Deliver on schedule while meeting customer and project requirements.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report safety concerns.
• Monitor mixer during loading, transport, and discharge.
• Maintain concrete quality and follow procedures.
• Navigate roads and job sites in compliance with DOT rules.
• Communicate delivery status with dispatch, plant personnel, and customers.
• Provide professional customer service and represent Amrize positively.
• Complete delivery tickets and electronic documentation accurately.
• Perform truck washout and cleanup after deliveries.
• Keep truck clean, safe, and well-maintained; report needs promptly.
• Support additional plant operations and maintain a safe work environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely operate an RMX mixer truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to residential, commercial, and construction job sites.

• Ensure concrete is delivered safely, accurately, and on schedule while meeting customer and project requirements.

• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any equipment or safety concerns.

• Operate and monitor the mixer during loading, transportation, and concrete discharge.

• Maintain the proper concrete consistency and follow established procedures for product quality.

• Safely navigate local roads and job sites while complying with all DOT and traffic regulations.

• Communicate effectively with dispatch, plant personnel, supervisors, and customers regarding delivery status and job-site conditions.

• Provide professional, courteous customer service and represent the company positively at every job site.

• Complete required delivery tickets, paperwork, electronic documentation, and other operational records accurately.

• Perform proper truck washout and cleanup after each delivery to prevent concrete buildup and protect equipment.

• Maintain the truck in a clean, safe, and serviceable condition and report maintenance needs promptly.

• Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting with general plant operations, housekeeping, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Pay Range: 26.00-30.00 per_hour, General Benefits:

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL is required.

• Clean and acceptable driving record with a commitment to safe driving practices.

• Previous commercial driving experience preferred; ready-mix or concrete experience is aplus.

• Ability to safely operate and maneuver a mixer truck in various road and job-site conditions.

• Ability to perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and company safety requirements.

• Reliable, dependable, and committed to maintaining a consistent work schedule.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to work in dependently while effectively communicating with dispatch, plant personnel, and customers.

• Abilityto work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical duties associated with the position.
