Job summary

Grade Potential Tutoring seeks an in-person tutor to support an 8th-grade student with ASD, ADHD, and dyslexia in Fleetwood, PA. Sessions are 1 hour, twice weekly, with a flexible schedule and the tutor uses own materials and methods. Travel to the family home is required within a ~5–10 mile radius.

Ideal candidates have teaching/tutoring experience, a teaching certification, and prior work with ADHD, autism, or dyslexia. Insurance rules require tutors to be adults.

About the student

• 8th-grade student with ASD, ADHD, and dyslexia seeking tutoring for reading and English Language Arts.
• At the beginning of the year, the student tested at a 4th-grade level. His goal is to start to catch up to grade level and become more confident with the material.
• The student is seeking 1-hour sessions twice per week during his availability: Monday - Friday from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Saturday - Sunday from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
• The student is seeking a tutor who can meet for in-person sessions at his family's home in Fleetwood.

Requirements

REQUIRED

• You have experience teaching/tutoring.
• You are willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles).
• Due to insurance requirements, applicant must not be a minor.

PREFERRED

• You have experience working with individuals with ADHD.
• You have experience working with individuals with autism.
• You have experience working with individuals with dyslexia.
• You have a teaching certification.
• $27 - $32 per hour
