Beth Israel Lahey Health seeks a Reading Specialist to deliver evidence-based reading instruction to students in grades 7–12 within a collaborative school setting.

Under the Education Director and Program Director, you will assess progress, develop IEP-aligned goals, and coordinate with teachers, families, and specialists to implement targeted interventions that boost literacy across all content areas.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in reading, literacy, or related field.
• Valid MA Reading Specialist license or eligibility.
• Experience with middle/high school students.
• Knowledge of IDEA/504 and MA special education regulations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct reading instruction and intervention per IEPs.
• Conduct literacy assessments and analyze data to identify needs.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse learners across content areas.
• Develop and monitor individualized intervention plans.
• Collaborate with teachers and families to support literacy goals.
