Job summary

Hamtramck Public Schools is seeking a dedicated teacher to assess and support students at risk in literacy. The ideal candidate must hold a valid Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate and have at least three years of teaching experience.

Salary is per the HFT Teacher Contract.

Qualifications

• Three years teaching experience.
• LETRS Certified (currently enrolled or willing to enroll).
• Knowledge of tier II and tier III interventions.

Responsibilities

• Assess and identify children at risk in literacy.
• Provide direct instruction to eligible students in reading services.
• Collaborate with school instructional team to develop individualized plans.
• Participate in faculty meetings and serve on staff committees.
