Job summary

Alpha is seeking a Reading Interventionist to deliver targeted literacy sessions for K–3 students. You will identify decoding gaps, design focused sequences, and verify skill transfer within a supportive classroom of two to four children.

on-site support and daily student engagement are core to the role. You will guide students through software-based core instruction, maintain daily targets, and participate in routines that foster motivation and learning progression.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; state teaching certification not required.
• Minimum 2 years teaching reading to K-3 students in past 5 years.
• At least 3 years work with children ages 4–9 in instructional settings.
• Completed training in structured literacy approaches or master's in reading/literacy.

Responsibilities

• Deliver targeted literacy sessions to small groups; identify and address decoding gaps.
• Support students during app-based core instruction and maintain achievement targets.
• Lead morning routines, workshops, meals, outdoor time, and reflection activities.
