The Reading Specialist will collect progress data, implement evidence-based strategies, and participate in IEP meetings to set meaningful goals for K-12 students.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a Special Education Teacher.
• Experience working with K-12 students in special education settings.
• Knowledge and application of evidence-based reading strategies and interventions.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
• Ability to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Passion for fostering inclusive, positive classroom environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized and small-group reading instruction based on student needs.
• Collect data to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
